The only problem with this whole exercise is how quickly the months seem to be passing! It seems no time at all since the last weekend that photos were taken, although to be fair we were all a little after the "actual" first weekend with getting the pictures, and even later with the posts...
However here is this months effort - thank you, the fields are now colouring with yellow (Rape Seed) and I am still hopeful for Sunflowers later in the year.
Oh and what a nice friendly, helpful cloud that was to pose so nicely in the view!
Certainly it is looking more Spring like, although I am still disappointed in the seeming lack of any real change in the foreground - maybe next time... Temperature hit 28C (82F) here on Friday/Saturday and more of the same this week, although not quite as hot. Hopefully a burst of colour will present for three weeks time...

Hahaha! First weekend in March - Not! - Sally
February is officially too short! I was away the first weekend in March - so took this month's offering in the second week of March and am uploading in the third week of March! And have probably done it wrong! Again! Whoops! Hey ho ~ this month has seen all sorts of weather ~ most notably, rain ~ much needed here. The feed to the pond, as you can see, has filled up ~ and HOORAY ~ spring must be nearly here because there are daffs out. Lovely (just shame about the Welsh connotation!! LOL! JOKE!!!)

5th Month - Weeeknd 12th/13th March - Mike
Well as Steve said life seems to have gotten in the way of month 5 being shot on time. Mine was also a bit of a rush Job as I had other things I wanted to Photograph on 13th.
Again no huge difference in my shot over last month, save the sky having some blue bits in it ... we don't often get that round here.
Well lets see if the next instalment sees us shoot on the 1st weekend and if much difference in the scenes. Hope everyone is enjoying keeping tabs on the changes.

5th Month - Weekend 12-13 February 2011 - Steve
Well everyone is a weekend late this month, other forces and pressures for all of us I think.
Still no major changes here, there is limited blossom in the garden on the Magnolia and a couple of small Cherry? trees, but the spot for the picture as can be seen has no real activity going on. The fields are a bit greener and I have my fingers crossed that it will be Sunflowers or something similarly colourful!
So here is this months picture, shame it isn't a little more interesting...
other pictures are in the album

4th Month. Weekend 5th/6th Feb 2011 - Mike
Well as Steve has touched on this last month has gone by quicker than the rise in fuel costs on British forecourts. I had been thinking if the scene isn't much different what am I going to do ? Sally has suggested getting up in time for a sunrise ... hmmm I'm not a morning person, I could convert to black & white .... hmm still a good few months to come ..soooo .... I changed nothing so the image looks rather remarkably similar to last months.
I only visited the scene on the one day -Sunday and was having to judge my time carefully as I had spent the earlier part of the afternoon wandering around a Mill close to me which is in the process of being demolished and photographing it's rather stunning engine house. It rained for a fair bot of the afternoon but had stopped by the time I got to the scene and the rain had left a nice puddle to left of the scene to add some variety to the shot.
For anyone interested technical Data: Canon 50D, 28mm prime lens. Settings: ISO 640 1/80 @ f5.0

February 2011 - What a dull day!
A very dull and miserable weekend ~ I went to the site twice and it was equally dull each day!! And as I sit here typing, it's BRIGHT sunshine straight after a really heavy downpour which would probably make this month's picture a whole lot more interesting!! I believe it is called the "Law of Sod"!!!
Hey ho ---- this is the pic I took on the weekend I was meant to ~ so ..... without further ado:-

4th Month - Weekend 05-06 February 2011 - Steve
Another month has seemingly flown by without even a how do you do!
Actually visited "the spot" twice over the weekend although the first time was a drive by without stopping as the mist was covering most of the view. Sunday was a lot more successful with the mist sitting in the valleys and the low sun I managed to get a good variety of candidate photos.
The final one - others are in the album - is this one, with some nice subtle hues of colour.
Hopefully there will be a link and/or slideshow of the published images for each location that will more readily show the changes from month to month - in the works and hope to have something later in the week to try.
