4th Month. Weekend 5th/6th Feb 2011 - Mike

Well as Steve has touched on this last month has gone by quicker than the rise in fuel costs on British forecourts.  I had been thinking if the scene isn't much different what am I going to do ? Sally has suggested getting up in time for a sunrise ... hmmm I'm not a morning person, I could convert to black & white .... hmm still a good few months to come ..soooo .... I changed nothing so the image looks rather remarkably similar to last months.

I only visited the scene on the one day -Sunday and was having to judge my time carefully as I had spent the earlier part of the afternoon wandering around a Mill close to me which is in the process of being demolished and photographing it's rather stunning engine house. It rained for a fair bot of the afternoon but had stopped by the time I got to the scene and the rain had left a nice puddle to left of the scene to add some variety to the shot.

For anyone interested technical Data:  Canon 50D, 28mm prime lens. Settings: ISO 640  1/80 @ f5.0

February 2011 - What a dull day!

A very dull and miserable weekend ~ I went to the site twice and it was equally dull each day!!  And as I sit here typing, it's BRIGHT sunshine straight after a really heavy downpour which would probably make this month's picture a whole lot more interesting!!  I believe it is called the "Law of Sod"!!!
Hey ho ---- this is the pic I took on the weekend I was meant to ~ so ..... without further ado:-

4th Month - Weekend 05-06 February 2011 - Steve

Another month has seemingly flown by without even a how do you do!
Actually visited "the spot" twice over the weekend although the first time was a drive by without stopping as the mist was covering most of the view. Sunday was a lot more successful with the mist sitting in the valleys and the low sun I managed to get a good variety of candidate photos.
The final one - others are in the album  - is this one, with some nice subtle hues of colour.
Hopefully there will be a link and/or slideshow of the published images for each location that will more readily show the changes from month to month - in the works and hope to have something later in the week to try.
